From 22 to 26 August 2025, an international conference was held in Golubić (Municipality of Obrovac), jointly organized by the Association for History, Cooperation and Reconciliation from Golubić, the Center for History, Democracy and Reconciliation from Novi Sad, and the Institute for Migration Research from Zagreb.
Project members of MINUCON from Croatia and Germany used the conference to present the project’s aims and their scholarly papers on Croat–Serb relations and minority politics in a comparative perspective.
Special emphasis was placed on topics that connect local communities in the Bukovica region and Southern Lika, strengthen coexistence, and promote sustainable development and cross-border cooperation.
The conference also served as a working meeting of the project team, where further research steps, joint publications, and outreach activities were discussed and planned.
Participation in this event further consolidated the MINUCON partnership and increased the project’s visibility in the wider region.
