The international scientific and expert conference\u00a0\u201cBridges of Cooperation \u2013 Croat-Serb Relations in the Light of the 150th Anniversary of the Birth of Svetozar Pribi\u0107evi\u0107\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0was held from\u00a015 to 17 October 2025<\/strong>\u00a0at the\u00a0Library and Reading Room of the Municipality of Dvor<\/strong>\u00a0(Dvor), organized by the\u00a0Institute for Migration Research<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0Municipality of Dvor<\/strong>.
At the conference, members of the\u00a0MINUCON<\/strong>\u00a0project presented their research on Croat-Serb relations, the position of minorities in Croatia and Serbia, and comparative experiences from other European border regions.
The event served as a platform to test and further develop MINUCON\u2019s comparative framework, especially by linking the Croat-Serb case with the Danish-German model in Schleswig.
During the conference, the project team held a working meeting and agreed on the completion of chapters for a joint monograph, as well as on strengthening cooperation between the Institute for Migration Research, ECMI and partner institutions.
The key message of MINUCON from this event is that scientifically grounded analysis, combined with respect for local communities and international experience, can build lasting bridges of cooperation and improve the position of national minorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
